Happy Holidays everyone!

Enjoy!
Hi Everyone! Well, Shaun and I have decided that the time has come to take down some of the information that used to be up about each of us. Did you hear the collective sigh?! I know you are dissapointed, but with the kids growing older and Shaun's work, it is for the best! We'll continue to post updates here about as frequently as before - every month or so!
He's Home!

Alright so it's been a little while since I've been able to update. I apologize. We've been busy - obviously. Shaun should be home in just a few more days, and we are excited! Well, the kids are excited - I am not thrilled at the idea of having to cook again, but I'll deal. Patrick has reverted to asking where "Shaun" went, so that should be fun to break. I will let you know how the homecoming plays out!
Hello Hello! The year is progressing, the kids are out of school today because of snow. Siena continues to participate in cheer competitions throughout Maryland and Virginia. Luckily, things are quiet on the home front - sick kids aside. I've update the kids pages.
Happy New Year!
Shaun is back in (insert foreign war torn country), and we really enjoyed his visit. I'm still waiting on those Newsletter Adlibs... Siena had a competition yesterday - I put more info on her page!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone!
Shaun is here! We are very happy to have him for 3 weeks!
Thanksgiving has come and gone - the kids and I spent the holiday with the Lynch family in Virginia. Pictures have been updated through the Lynch.Shutterfly.com page. We are moving very quickly into December and are awaiting the arrival of Santa in Mid-December for a two week R&R stay...
The kids and I have been in Maryland for a full year now. In true Navy fashion, Shaun has visited with us periodically for about four of those months. Siena is enjoying fifth grade, chearleading, chorus, and safety patrol, while Biz has started gymnastics again. Patrick enjoys chasing me throughout the house yelling 'Ball'. It's cute for about 5 minutes, trust me. The updates have been spread out and lackluster - I apologize. I'd promise to do better, but really?
AND we're back to school! YAY!!! Siena and Isabella are both partaking in the finest schooling the public schools have to offer. Siena is in 5th grade this year, and Biz started Kindergarten! Man, what a day that was... Patrick is still in his before and after care, Shaun is still in (insert war torn country here), and I'm still drinking margaritas by the pitcher.
Seriously? It's August? Huh. Well, in the Lynch house, we are going to welcome August! August brings a new school year, which sees Isabella starting Kindergarten and a slight reduction in the day care fees we pay! I'll drink to that! Who are we kidding, I'll drink to just about anything. Who's with me?
Luckily, we survived the summer and the weekly trips throughout the East coast that it brought. We went swimming, we went to beaches, we flew on planes, we went on boats, we went to concerts... What didn't we do? We had a wonderful summer, and can not wait until next year when Shaun is home to enjoy it with us.
Just a word of warning, July is an insane month here at the Lynch House. Chances are if you call/email/semifore - we will not be responding until... oh... August. 2010.
Hey. Cut me some slack. I'm trying!
We've update Siena's page and the Bizisms recently, check them out!
Siena, Biz, Patrick, and Jes recently took a roadtrip to the Bordentown street festival held semi-annually to visit Shaun's sister, Lauren Myers, and her family! We also visited Shaun's Aunt Lisa's family, his Nan and Pops, and even saw his Uncle Joe!
Well, for those of you that had not heard (and apparently are under a rock), Shaun was deployed to the Gulf for about 15 months. His whereabouts and duties are classified - we have ideas, but not specifics. Let your mind wander... So please, Keep Shaun in your prayers. Jes just got back from a trip to see him in Florida.
In the meantime, The Lynch Family stateside celebrated Easter!!!
In March, the entire Lynch clan (John, Linda, Kelly, Shaun, Jes, the three kids, and Lauren, Joe, and Cait Myers) all went on a Caribbean Cruise! How very nice!
We had a very light dusting of snow recently - and guess what? We took pictures!
Shaun and I did some painting and other home improvements in our house this past weekend.
Happy New Year!!! I know what you are all thinking, Jes gets a job, and the website is never updated! Well - you're right. My apologies.
Happy Festivus, Everyone!
Shaun and I took a trip to NYC in early December, and Nona stayed with the kids.
We have a tree!
The Lynch Family spent Thanksgiving at Shaun's Family's home in Woodbridge. Football was watched, Shopping was charged, and Turkey was devoured! Jes got to spend the day with her cousins up in Reston this past weekend, and of course took pictures - Siena and Biz got crazy decorating gingerbread houses and trains! The Lynch Family will be traveling to Pittsburgh for Christmas, and back to Woodbridge for New Year's! We hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday, and a Happy New Year!
As promised, I have pictures from Patrick and Bella's rooms, which we simply painted. I forgot to take "before" pictures from Bella's room, so just imagine a lot of white. You get the idea. We have several large projects that we would like to take on, but that is waaaay down the line. I think the painting is about all we are going to take on for now!
First, We arrived in Maryland LATE on October 7th, and quickly began renovating our downstairs bathroom, Patrick's bedroom, and Isabella's bedroom as we had no furniture to work around (our HHG did not arrive until a week after it was supposed to in true military fashion)!
On the 14th, we took a break to travel to the Navy vs. Rutgers poor excuse of a football game up in Annapolis! Navy (obviously) lost, but the day was beautiful!
And on the 15th, We took the children to a giant corn maze at a place called, ironically, A Maze in Place. There was also a pumpking patch and a petting zoo (although not an evil petting zoo).

October 19th
Just a quick note to let everyone know we have made it to Maryland unscathed! We have been here for almost two weeks now and are hoping to get our furniture and such today. We have made it to a Navy football game, taken the kids to a corn maze/pumpkin patch, and done some "renovations" to our home, so we have a lot of pictures - we are waiting on our DSL connection to upload them, so check back soon!!

October 2nd
We are down to days before we arrive in the states, so this will most likely be our last update for a few weeks. We have recently celebrated Siena's 9th Birthday and Patrick's 1st Birthday, and went to a Pirates of the Pacific Party. Make sure to check out everyone's pictures! Also, Shaun made a slideshow for his farewell, check it out!
The Lynch Family will be arriving in the DC area on October 7th - with ground kissing and partying to follow. We are enjoying our remaining month in Japan by cramming in as many last minute sight seeing and shopping trips as possible!
Please e-mail any import request to Jessica, our resident shopper.
In an attempt to get recent information to you in a more timely manner (seeing as how our old site has not been updated in a year...), we have opted for a whole new look! Our goal is to update our "happenings" monthly and try to share as many pictures as possible of our family and friends. If something new pops up, we will place a relevant picture with a caption under the section entitled "Current Headlines." The "Read More" link will take you to the appropriate page with accompanying pictures or links. We will try and archive pictures and stories as best we can. Also, you will see that there is a line on the bottom left of the toolbar that will let you know when the site was last updated. Please bear with us as we make our changes, and check back soon for the finished product!
